Carrie Underwood lends a paw!

The American Country Singer Carrie Underwood showed some love to the furry friends at the Checotah Animal Shelter on Monday. The 29-year-old paid a visited to promote the adoption of abandoned animals and hopefully influenced her fans to do the same.
Carrie Underwood was seen playing with little kittens and she even shared a photo of her with a bunch of kittens and sent a tweet saying: “Hanging out at the Checotah animal shelter! Anyone want a kitten? I think we have a few!!! Ha ha!”
The singer is a real animal lover and the director of Checotah animal shelter, Kate Paris told People Magazine that the blonde beauty pays a visit to their institution every time that she visits her mother. The shelter which she helped to launch through her charity, the CATS Foundation, is situated in her hometown of Oklahoma. During her visit she spent a lot of time with the homeless dogs and cats but she couldn’t keep her hands off a litter of kittens. Later Carrie also shared another picture of a little kitten that she singled out, with the caption reading:
“Someone left this one at the grocery store…”
We love to see celebrities get involved and show their support to local organizations and charities. Way to go Carrie! We’re sure those kittens found loving homes in no time!
