Jeff Goldblum was papped on vacation in St. Bart’s earlier this week with new girlfriend Emilie Livingston. At 29, Livingston is a full 30 years younger than the comparatively Jurassic actor.

Goldblum turns 60 later this year, yet has a history of dating far younger women – before Livingston, a former Olympic gymnast, he dated 26-year-old Lydia Hearst Shaw, a model and the daughter of heiress Patricia Hearst. In that relationship, the age gap was even bigger (at 32 years), and this was apparently a critical factor in the split, which occurred in late-June. Speaking to Radar Online, a source said:

“There was quite an age difference, and things just ran their course.”

Goldblum also has a long string of relationships behind him. Previously, he has been married to actresses Patricia Gaul and Geena Davis. He was also engaged to Laura Dern (a co-star in Jurassic Park) and Catherine Wreford; neither relationship lasted until marriage.

In St. Bart’s, however, Goldblum and his latest partner looked the very picture of contentment. The pair waded and played in the sea, before walking along the beach hand in hand and indulging in a spot of al fresco dining on the beaches St. Bart’s is famous for.

Relatively little is known about Emilie Livingston, though it is understood she represented Canada at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. She was 17 years old at the time, and competed in the rhythmic portion of the gymnastics events, including Rope, Hoop, Ball, and Ribbon; according to sports-reference.com, she finished 18th in the final Games.
