Kris Jenner and her family will do just about anything for ratings on their E! reality show ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ but have they finally taken the scripted drama too far?

The latest saga attempted to discover the level of love, honesty and commitment Kris Jenner has for husband Bruce Jenner with the help of her old flame Todd Waterman.

A secret meeting between Kris and Todd starts off at a restaurant where her former lover suggests they find a more private place to continue their meeting.  Did we mention that a camera crew is filming the supposed tryst?  Yep.

Kris declines the offer because she’s just not feeling the sparks.  After dinner Kris admits, “I think that this dinner has taught me a lot of things.  And it’s nice to know that I made the right decision, and I’m just really glad that I’m going home to Bruce Jenner.”  Are you nauseated yet?

At home she tells Bruce about the meeting and gushes about how much she appreciates him.  Bruce is furious and rants, “Explain to me why you saw this a**hole … what an idiot you are! I don’t even know how I can trust you — I can’t believe you did this!”  This was being said while daughter Kylie hovers nearby.

Kourtney, Kim and Khloe pretend to be outraged and insist she take a lie detector test.  “We know that we’re playing with fire and we might not want to know some of the real answers to these questions,” Kourtney said. “But if she really has nothing to hide, she shouldn’t be worried about answering them.”

Kris passes with flying colors and boasts, “Hopefully, my family will realize that I’ve been telling the truth all along, and they’ll leave me alone.”

Bruce and Kris head off on a romantic getaway to Malibu to rekindle their romance so they can share it with you next Sunday.

So ends this segment of Kardashian “reality” drama.  Carry on.
