Last night Kanye West played Saturday Night Live. Everyone tuned in for those two new tracks, ”Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves,” but we also gleaned a few new things about Kanye, his upcoming album and his peculiar state of mind.

1) Kanye’s not in a great mood

It’s been looking more and more like Mr. West is bumming hard. When your boo is the most famous celeb in the world — and she’s very pregnant — struggle-face pap shots, running into street signs, going toro on paparazzi… it’s gonna happen. After hearing “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves,” everyone’s officially on notice that Kanye ain’t playin’ with people right now. Do not test him right now unless you have a desire to be turned into an outrageous internet meme.

Actress Zoe Saldana says that she was shocked over the backlash from her recent Allure magazine photo shoot and interview — not because she was naked in one of the shots and topless in another, but because the new issue features the headline, “Zoe Saldana: 115 pounds of grit and heartache” on its cover.

The Star Trek Into Darkness star has come to the defense of the magazine’s editors, saying she isn’t ashamed of her thin frame.

Readers expressed their concerns that sensationalizing Saldana’s actual weight would be bad for young girls who are struggling with body image issues.

“I think that it would have been wrong if they were lying about my weight,” she said during an interview on The Today Show. “This is how much I weigh, it’s something I can’t control, it’s who I am, I’ve always been of a very thin frame – I was a ballet dancer.

‘Bea Arthur Naked’ Painting Causes A Stir Online

Bea Arthur’s topless painting is causing quite a stir online.

The deceased Golden Girls star was the subject of a 1991 painting by Brooklyn-based artist John Currin simply titled “Bea Arthur Naked.” As the title suggests, the painting depicts Arthur from the waist up, topless, sporting a pretty unspectacular expression, all things being equal.

But Arthur would probably be smiling (maybe blushing), at least after finding out that an anonymous bidder shelled out nearly $ 2 million for the notorious portrait at a Christie’s auction days ago.

The NSFW painting, which you can see here (warning: can’t un-see), has been long criticized for misogyny, but a Christie spokesperson told the New York Post that if you see it that way, well, you just don’t get it.

“It’s historically significant — it’s radical to sexualize someone people think of as asexual,” the spokesperson opined. “The painting has a visual toughness to it — but it’s also fun.”

Carmen Electra Celebrates 41st Birthday In Style [Video]

American glamour model Carmen Electra celebrated her 41st birthday in style Saturday night as she partied hard at Crazy Horse III Gentleman’s Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. The well-known actress and model celebrated with fans in honor of her new single and even took control of the mic and addressed the crowd.

The “Baywatch” babe was classier than ever as she strutted her stuff in a black dress with Christian Louboutin stilletos. She wore a Chanel ring to top it off and was posing in photos with fans throughout the night.

At one point, the house DJ played her new track, “Bigger Dick,” so she joined him on stage and started dancing. Soon after, she took the mic and made an announcement to all those in attendace about her experience at Crazy Horse III: “I love coming here to Crazy Horse III every year to celebrate with my friends here in Las Vegas!”

Carmen Electra finished off her night by signing autographs and snapping pictures with fans. Even with all the attention, Electra didn’t forget to celebrate her 41st as she enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails and shots of Dom Perignon.

This wasn’t her first appearance at the Crazy Horse as she hosted their second-anniversary celebration in 2011 and performed at the recently-closed “Crazy Horse Paris” at the MGM Grand in 2009.
